A Note About Our Prices Content
It's not a surprise that the past two years have been incredibly challenging in every possible way. As a business that focuses on food and hospitality, we have felt it across our platforms, from restaurants to our home cooking products. We have been working tirelessly to provide restaurant-grade pantry products to you since day one of our launch back in 2020. The world has changed so much since then.
In the interest of full transparency, we are letting you know that the price of some of our core products has increased by $1 as of February 21st. We make no profit from that extra dollar. In fact, here's where it goes:
Other products have seen a larger price increase for various reasons. For example, the price of shipping containers across the ocean from Taiwan, where our noodles are made, is at a record high. Prior to 2020, container rates hovered around $2700 per container — now they are 10x higher at $27,000 per container. Our black truffle pricing has increased to nearly $400 per pound — and we are committed to using it in our Black Truffle Chili Crunch (no weird fillers or stand-ins here).
We have a small but mighty team working on this business, and we have put our heads together to come up with a sustainable solution during what continues to be a very challenging time for all of global operations and supply chain. We thank you for remaining loyal customers and look forward to serving you for years to come.
