The Next Generation of Momofuku Noodles - FAQs Content
What is the new price going to be?
Our new noodle 4-packs will be $12 USD on our website. We also increased the amount of sauce by 20% — so each serving packs even more of the flavor you love.
Over the next few weeks, you can also find our new noodle 4-packs rolling out at grocery stores nationwide. Snag our new noodles at Whole Foods, Target, Albertsons, and more — now at a lower in-store price than before. Price varies by location, please contact your local store for details and see here for stores near you.
Why the change in pack size?
We wanted to make our noodles easier for everyone to try. The 4-pack lowers the barrier to entry so more people can experience the magic of Momofuku. We want everyone to feel welcome at our table — and for some, price was holding them back. The size makes it easier to start, while the extra 20% sauce makes each serving even better.
Will the new noodles be available in Canada?
Not yet. For now, we’ll continue selling our original noodles in Canada — and we'll share any updates as soon as possible. We’re working hard to make more of our products even more accessible in Canada next year.
Why the change overall?
We’ve spent the past few years listening to feedback from our community — home cooks, chefs, and fans alike. You told us you wanted more sauce, better texture, and more convenience. We took that to heart. The new noodles are the result of years of testing, tasting, and refining to make them even closer to what we serve in our restaurants.
Why no Spicy Chili?
We love Spicy Chili but we wanted to make room for a new non-spicy option to join Soy & Scallion. So, we went back to the kitchen and developed a new flavor inspired by core ingredients from the Momofuku pantry — something savory, bold, and deeply satisfying. We think you’ll love it.
What changed about the noodles themselves?
We’ve been hard at work refining the formula — improving the texture, sauce coverage, and overall balance. The new noodles are saucier, springier, and even closer to restaurant quality than before.
Are the noodles still air-dried?
Yes. Our noodles are still air-dried, never fried, which keeps them lighter and closer to the texture of fresh noodles you’d get in a restaurant. The goal has always been to bridge that gap between restaurant and home cooking — and we’ve never compromised on that.
