The sodium in our noodles comes from the soy sauce in our sauce packets. Soy sauce is inherently salty so if you're watching your intake, we recommend halving your sauce packet and cutting it with water to make a less-salty broth.

Stovetop: We recommend cooking our noodles for 4 minutes (or 15-30 seconds less for a bit more bite), draining, and then giving them a good shake to remove excess water.
Microwave: We recommend cooking our noodles on a stovetop for best texture, but if you prefer to cook them in a microwave, start by adding noodles to a microwavable bowl. Fill the bowl with about 2 cups of water, or enough to reach just below the top of the noodles. Cook on high for 2 minutes. Use a fork to gently break apart the noodles, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes or until tender and bouncy. Drain, add sauce, and enjoy. *Cook times may vary based on different microwave wattages.
Our noodles are both great on their own with the included sauce packet and the perfect canvas for culinary creations. Quickly take your meal to the next level by adding toppings like Chili Crunch, stir fried meat or vegetables, and soft boiled eggs. For even more creative ideas, check out the recipes below.

My team challenged me to create recipes on the fly based on random ingredients they bought, plus our Momofuku pantry products. That’s how this “carbonara” was born. It contains the base flavors of what’s traditionally in this dish, but I added Chili Crunch for more spice and kicked up the umami with Savory Seasoned Salt, parmesan, and eggs.
You probably have everything you need to make these noodles already in your pantry—which means you’re only 5 minutes away from a powerhouse lunch or a homerunner dinner. Feel free to flex up to serve additional people, and don’t be afraid to toss in pulled chicken if you want to add protein.
