15-Minute Weeknight Beef Bulgogi-Inspired Bowls
These easy beef bulgogi-inspired bowls come together in less than 15 minutes, plus marinating time—and thanks to our Sweet & Savory Korean BBQ Sauce, there’s no need to mix together a long list of ingredients for the marinade. If you’re not a fan of lettuce wraps, you could easily serve the beef with a bowl of noodles instead and skip the cold water rinse. Be sure to toss in your favorite toppings, like cucumbers, carrots, as well as herbs like scallions or cilantro. Serves 3.
Our new Korean BBQ Sauces are now available in-stores exclusively at Whole Foods across the USA — click here to find our sauces near you. Both of our sauce flavors will be available here on our site later this summer for both Canada and the USA.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 pound flank steak or skirt steak, thinly sliced (about ⅛ inch thick)
- ½ cup Momofuku Sweet & Savory Sauce + more for topping
- 1 pack Momofuku Noodles (flavor of choice)
- Lettuce
- Cucumbers, carrots, scallions, sliced (optional)
Directions
Toss sliced steak with ½ cup of Momofuku Sweet & Savory Korean BBQ Sauce in a bowl. Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes and up to overnight.
Heat a nonstick pan or wok over high heat until hot. Add marinated steak and cook in a single layer for 3 minutes. (If you crowd the steak, it will trap the steam and release too much water, causing the steak to boil rather than sear.) Toss steak and cook for another 1–2 minutes until fully cooked and slightly charred. Remove from heat.
Meanwhile, boil noodles for 3 minutes then drain and quickly rinse in cold water until completely cooled. Toss with sauce packet.
To serve, make lettuce wraps using the lettuce, the chilled noodles, and the steak. Top with sliced cucumbers, carrots, or scallions, if desired.
